Glimpses of MTTC

  We had our first yoga class today. Sir demonstrated few yoga poses for beginners. It helped to revitalize our minds and body and get over the lethargic feeling. The next class was by Maya ma'am where we discussed the competencies required in a teacher. During the hour we had a surprise song-dance performance by Priyanka (English) and Roshna (social science).This was done to point out the importance of spontaneity in teachers. During our optional hour, the class discussed the qualities a Mathematics teacher must posses. But the highlight of the day was our Republic day cultural program. Each association put up a wonderful show. We, the math association did a short skit depicting the same old topic 'Unity in Diversity' but with a touch of our own. This activity was a great source of bonding, it helped in creating a sense of unity in class. The other associations put up vibrant performances.   Today I was very scared. My first stage experience. but my friend sajin motivated me . It helps me a lot.Our program was successful and teacher give positive comment to us.

EDUCATION IS THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON YOU CAN USE TO CHANGE THE WORLD: Monday, a fresh start to the week, the morning session was by Dr Gibi ma'am who taught as Educational psychology .She discussed the scope, use and limitations of psychology. The next session was by our Maya maam. She taught us the term Education and discussed about psychological process. The next hour was follwed by optional and last hour was physical education  

  Friday morning, reached college early straight to class which welcomed me with pretty smiles. First class was by Gibi miss she started off with asking questions to check if we revised or not after which she continues her class. Next hour was taken  Maya miss. Topic- naturalism was taught. A video related to was also shown by miss which somehow aroused a patriotic and what should I say some kind of positive energy within me. The next hour was optional. Ma'am taught about qualities of a good teacher. We all enjoyed lunch and then rushed to auditorium to attend the last talent hunt day. Malayalam optional was the first to perform. There programs were so intense and energetic that I too felt the urge to dance.  With Social science the talent hunt of 2020 - 2022 offically ended. Colourful performance was there trademark. The orientation class began with a prayer led by Dr. Deepthi ma'am and Mrs. Shiney Jacob ma'am. In the absence of our Principal Dr. K.Y. Benedict sir, Dr. Giby mam welcomed us to the college and all other teachers introduce themselves.  The first session conducted by Dr. Joju sir. He talked about role of teachers in society. The second session taken by Dr. Maya ma'am. She talked about our college motto and emblem. Moreover she conducted an ice breaking session to encourage the students. The final session taken by Dr. Ragu sir. He talked about the time management.

  A new college and a new phase of my life. Like any other kid going to a new school I too entered with a lot of feelings. The orientation program was being conducted in hall. Entering with a smile hidden within the mask I stepped into my life's new chapter. The hall was already half filled. The whole inaugural function went well, the teachers were giving friendly approach . I am really happy
