Glimpses of MTTC

   After a small vacation, we are back to classes. But it is online. Today we just had two classes. The first class was by Joju sir, where sir continued with the seminar presentations of Natural Science association. The presentations were on e -learning, SWAYAM and tips forbdeveloping e- content. The presentations were really good. Later we had a very short class by Giby ma'am. The class began with a prayer song by Josena. The lyrics of the song compared life to a wheel. Ma'am asked us to elaborate on whu would the poet do such a comparison. The answers were different and thought provoking.   Today we had two hours of optional class, which was utilised to comolete our presentations. The first presentation was by Josena. She described how 'Aadujeevitham' by Benjamin had influenced her. Rubeena did her seminar on 'Laboratory method', Aby did his presentation on the world famous mathematician Ramanujam and Sruthi expressed her views on the book 'Oru Sangeerthan...

  Today, the class was online mode. First session was taken by Dr. Joju sir. Sir taught us practicum. Then second session was taken by Dr. Gibi ma'am. Ma'am shared her personal story and told that  'Do it now'.  At the end of the class, ma'am gave us some works to do, which were to listed out 10 regrets and also to wrote "An Introspection into My Mind". The next session was our optional period. Neema, archana and josena presented their seminar topics.  Assignment on the topic 'Euclidean & Non Euclidean Geometry' was taken by Josena and seminars on the topics 'Human needs of mathematics' and 'supervised study' were conducted by Neema & Archana respectively.

Today, the whole day was occupied by our beautiful Deepthi ma'am. Starting with silent prayer as usual, silpa presented her reading and reflection. She selected the book invisible man, a horror thriller . It was very interesting 👏.  Then Deepthi ma'am continued the skills of micro teaching.  The main skills are: Skill of set induction.  Skill of stimulus variation. Skill of Questioning. Skill of reinforcement. Skill of black board. Skill of explanation. Skill of illustrating with example. Skill of demonstration. Skill of class management. Skill of closure. Afternoon session was taken by kavya and pranav, presented their assignment topics. They presented very well.  After that we selected 2 skills per person through paper lot taking. I got skills of set induction and skill of explanation 😇😇😇... 

      ANNE FRANK     The diary of a young girl "I want to go on living even after my death!" on 5 April 1944,Anne Frank wrote this ambitious sentence in her diary... 😔   Today, Reading and reflection was taken by neema😍. She selected the book "Anne Frank :The diary of a young girl". Neema presented very well👏..  I remember reading Anne Frank at school in 10th grade. This book just impacted me so much more than the average book. The Diary of Anne Frank" stand out was Anne's personality. It took a while for my thoughts to settle in and be lieve this actually happened. Also that Anne was one out of millions that this happened to. I don't think I can relate to Anne personality wise because I don't think I would be happy in the condition she was living in. Anne Frank changed how I view things in life and what people take granted of. This was a extremely sad and inspiring story, I hope others who have not read it take the time to read it... 👍

  The first session was our yoga class. Doing the yoga exercise in the beginning of the day energised us😊.  Second session was taken by Dr. Maya ma'am. Ma'am taught us realism. The main topics are: Father of realism: Aristotle Philosophy of common sense.  20th century philosophy  World of objects.  Object can exist even without being known at all.  The next sessions was taken by Dr. Ancy ma'am. Ma'am taught us language development. The fourth hour was taken by Archana ma'am. Ma'am taught us structuralism-Wilhem Wundt. Afternoon session was taken by Dr. Gibi ma'am. Ma'am continued the topic variables of learning factors.  This class was really funny especially albin brother .
